HFX is slightly more proactive, with greater spells of possession. Though without a real dominance of the match. Forge a bit on their back foot and a bit uncertain going forward, rushing a bit. But even in terms of chances, as neither has pushed the opposing keeper much.

Forge has definitely tried to force some passes and it's not working yet, not many chances for either team, I agree the Bekker tackle may have thwarted the best chance of the match so far!

Agree about Choiniere, perhaps the best attacker on the field. 

HFX with Schaale, even Morelli, making weak give aways. HFX is lacking the quality in the attacking passing.

A good half even without goals, the players are up for it, we will see how much a factor the wind has been in the 2nd half, I thought Forge should have played some longer balls to be held up in the wind!

So I think Forge evened it out. Dunfield has been commenting very well, I like him today. Also spot on with the Forge aggressive tackling, you could argue Sabak got away with two yellows that half. 

While HFX looked to be dominating, the sense is that Forge has a couple more attacking pieces and they could make the difference if they get free second half. 

Liked Riggi and Choiniere, both doing similar things on either end.

Think the half time break will do these teams, and this match, a world of good.  Think it's been decent so far, Wanderers seem more game than Forge so far though.

As poor as most of the corners were HFX were living dangerously conceding so many and it eventually cost them!

bad start to the second for halifax and they pay for it after 15 min..second post cross and three players there for hfx but not one marking achiniotti..hart gotta make a couple subs right away..bring bent
