Grizzly
Good Bye and Good Riddance to Hernan Bernardello. Did Cruz Azul watch how he played for the Impact for the last year? Maybe if he is surrounded by a lot of other better players he can be an effective role player but very disappointing in Montreal. A hard working physical defensive midfield with little technical ability, poor passing, poor ball control and very little vision and tactical awareness. We don't need a South American DP for that, we can get a similar American for under $100 000. Shows how poor Nick De Santis and the Impact staff are at evaluating a player's actual ability as opposed to just judging them on where they have played. Dub Narcotic
I thought Bernadello was better than you give him credit for, but certainly not a DP or a game changer in any way. Who else do they have to play CM now? Bernier and Mallace and ?

Keegan
Is Messoudi going to be recalled maybe? Wouldn't hurt with the way things are going
canucklefan
I'm not sure Messoudi will play for Montreal if doesn't get any minutes with Ottawa during his loan. So far, it doesn't look good for him.
Dub Narcotic
Messoudi is like Manuel Aparicio, not even playing much on their loans. At least Aparicio is younger than Messoudi I believe.
canucklefan
Aparicio played 428 minutes in 8 games so far and scored once, Messoudi only played 13 minutes in the Canadian championship and nothing in NASL.

I didn't see where Messoudi would get his minutes here or in Ottawa. The reserve team only has only 9 games this year and the PDL team is an amateur one. Blackdude
Nelson Rivas has been "removed from the roster". Whatever that means. I've seen from the Ottawa Sun that Messoudi's loan with Ottawa is over. Although no club has sent a statement, yet.
mtlfan
I guess I know why we have stacked the team with defenders with 6 on the pitch last night to end the match and 2 on the bench. No but why are Danso and Lopez with this team as it appears Klopas has no intention of playing them. Would be nice to know what the playing status is on all the players missing from the line-up. Yohan
Krol signed by Mtl who released Mechack Jerome. Krol will probably bump Ouimette at LB once he gets match fit. Having said that, this is Krol's second crack in MLS, having played with Chicago few years ago
Blackdude
Ignacio Piatti was announced as a second DP, but won't come until San Lorenzo's Copa Libertadores' run is over.
Blackdude
Three things. 1) They have signed Gagnon-Laparé as an Academy player (although that's old news) 2) They have traded Nyassi to Chicago for Dilly Duka 3) They have a big press conference in less than 12 hours. I'm sure that if it's what we're hearing is true is that many Impact supporters will be happy about it.

Grizzly
Piatti to miss Copa Libertadores final and arrive soon in Montreal as FIFA will not approve transfer outside of transfer window. Too bad for him to miss the final but we sure need him as soon as possible. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2014/07/31/montreal-impact-now-expect-new-designated-player-ignacio-piatti-arrive-ahead

Blackdude
Santiago Gonzalez has been loaned to Danubio in Uruguay. That's what happens when you sign a player from the Uruguayan second division.

Blackdude
They get loaned back to the 1st division? I'm just saying that he wasn't an MLS calibre player. Anyways, they have signed Anthony Jackson-Hamel to a Homegrown contract.

Ruud
Jackson had a nice header in the game yesterday off a decent cross from Miller. He's a big lad. Good luck to him.
fuzzx
So weird that I'm happy, confident and optimistic while running a 7 game losing streak, but here we are... So many of our younger players have shown excellent performances, I feel like we are 2013 DC United.
