york only starts de rosario as u21 and have u211s williams(gk) abatneh dormond and esprit on the bench...a sixfive team once again goes to and away game with five subs...absolutely no financial issues there...pretty close to a must win game for both teams...gotta say vancouver is looking better currently so wouldnt be surprised if they take it

the appeal for dormonds ridiculous red card last game was succesful and thats why he can be in the squad tonight

York United received some good news on the suspensions front this week as Matthew Baldisimo will be available again after serving his three-match ban. Carson Buschman-Dormond, meanwhile, who was sent off in stoppage time of their match last weekend against Cavalry has seen his suspension successfully appealed and he will be available for Friday’s match, which is critical as York still chases the required 2,000 U-21 minutes. Paris Gee is also again available for selection after missing last week.

york comes back and takes it 2-1...vancouver will feel robbed with a few ref decisions but only had around 25 min left to hold on...big win for york but they only add around 100 u21 minutes so they will need to average even more going forward

I can get the ref didn't see the handball in the York box, but that foul on the breakaway was missed by the ref and linesman, who had a perfect angle.

Everyone talking about Vancouver's mediocre first season but they've lost more points than any other team on incompetent reffing.

I just watched the highlights, helpfully posted by the weirdo in the other thread. I can't understand how a referee that's clearly so incompetent has managed to rise to the highest league in the nation. What an absolute embarrassment of a performance.

It was so bad that cries of corruption couldn't be dismissed out of hand.
