Where is Waterman? Seems like he is sorely missed.

Montreal also really needs to go out and get a proper GK. Even someone at the level of a Cody Cropper would be such a big improvement to their team.

Waterman is suspended.

Agree about GK.

who will be back to #1? sirois? after yesli conceded a penalty goal? theres no logic in that...if dos santos does that it just shows how much hes lacking experience

Not the thread for this convo but Yesli had many weak moments today aside from the goal. Had his angles all wrong on the shot off the post, didn't come to claim on several crosses he could easily have had.

So you don’t bother posting about Osorio scoring from Laryea after some great work by Richie, but you feel the need to rant about Bradley getting an assist?   Okay…

Actually MLS's stats rules are such that Bradley didn't even get credited with an assist, even though it was a fabulous pass he made.

Bradley, along with Mavinga & Nelson, has been playing better since the Cavalry arrived from Italy, Colorado & Nottingham Forest. Bradley is actually being helped by having Nelson play in the middle and covering a lot of ground that Bradley can't (also the case with Kaye before he got injured) as well as being surrounded with more players who are good at keeping possession. So Bradley isn't getting overrun as much as he was before. Mavinga is less exposed & can focus more with Laryea & Criscito allowing fewer crosses in or playing darting in from either flank. MacNaughton has also been fairly steady-eddie next to him (even though he is prone to perhaps a little too much Richard Hastings-hoofball), which I think is why Henry is not playing (I suspect Bob realizes that Mavinga-Henry are perhaps too similar to play together). Nelson is benefiting from not just better players around him  but also now being the junior (and thus least expected) player in the starting line-up rather than being surrounded by another 5-6 teenagers/inexperienced rookies. He's more apt to defer now and keep things simple and with his excellent skills & athleticism that is serving him & the team well. A shame that he's bound to be the one who sits when Kaye is fit.

Everyone's play has been elevated except for Jimenez, which has to be the top concern at the moment. I wasn't at the game tonight so I caught the half-time show for a TFC home game for once and the panel spent the entire time critiquing Jimenez. You have to wonder if Ayo, even though he didn't score tonight, might get a chance to on Wednesday as he has looked to at least make some dangerous runs that his Italian teammates are finding him with, the sort that you'd have hoped Jimenez would also be doing. Jimenez really looks like he misses his Spanish former club mate in Pozuelo.

Anyone know what Burke is actually referring to?  As in, is there a specific incident that he was responding to or there is some sort of wide-ranging discriminatory issue that he's trying to point attention to in the league? Or was this aimed at some Philly fans?
