As a Forge supporter, I am really not looking forward to coming against Escalante again. I'm just glad Pasquotti isn't on the opposite wing, those two have caused us some nightmares.

Always a nail biter watching these two teams. Looking forward to see what Novak will produce. Cant wait!

This will be a tough one for Forge obviously despite showing signs of progress with the 3 goal outburst vs Pacific, hopefully Borges is fit and the team can put in a good performance, this does have the potential to be a big win for Cavalry!

I was wondering that too. I'm guessing they don't want to over do it.

Not sure what Carducci is doing for the 2nd goal. He looked caught in two minds but he left so much room on the nearside when he could have narrowed the angle. 

Forge simply have Cavalry's number every time, it is mental now.

A solid performance by Forge, they really didn't give Cavalry many good scoring chances, they seem to be coming into match fitness and the organization of an established side was apparent!

Well... that feels good! I think that's the best I've seen Hamilton hold up Calgary.

Not the best of games between these two, a couple moments of real quality by Kyle Bekker the only differences though I think Forge did look slightly more dangerous overall. Other than the brief 5-10 min period to start the second half Forge never looked threatened.

Bekker with an MVPesque performance. Defence very solid with Dejan having his best game for Forge. All around balanced game by Forge...they look like they're finding their stride again.

Decent performance consider no Krutzen and no Borges. Midfielders were all class for Forge. Jakovic looking sharper.

Samuel did a great job partnering Jakovic in the centre of defence, he is a real versatile player who can slot into any position in the backline or midfield!

Watching the highlights again there is a pathetic level of marking caused by Joseph Di Chiara being caught ball watching on the first goal.

I've always been surprised with his ability to play on the outside too. Not often that a tank of a player like Dom Samuel has the place to play out there.
