Chris Hofley is reporting that Colin Falvey will not be playing for the Fury this year, a transfer is in the works, but  Rafael Alves will definately be back and will team up with new signing Fernando Timbo  a fellow Brazilian.

Hofley also saying there will be some new signings this week.  Maybe with Atlanta and SanAntonio withdrawing from the NASL there players will be free agents and maybe the Fury can pick up one or two especially the Canadians.

Steele is a volatile player. He has been quite good in some places and very poor in other. He has had personal issues throughout his career. His time in Vancouver is not remembered fondly by supporters.

Can you elaborate on this? As a Fury fan I'd like to understand why he is such a journeyman and if he is a cancer in the dressing room or not?

GWS darn you beat me to it.  A canadian and a member of the national team. How many games do the National team have this season,  we missed De Guzman and Eustachio when they were off playing for Canada.

Porter is a pretty fringe player so I don't expect him to miss to many Fury games.

I don't know what more I can say. I;m not in the dressing room.

What I do know is that he has fantastic in Puerto Rico. Vancouver signed him the season prior to going to MLS because they wanted him to go to MLS with them. But when he was here, he was awful. Eventually he proves his MLS quality and has a few decent seasons in the league. After that he goes to Minnesota and was shit again. Who knows which Johnny Steele Ottawa will be getting.
