one-way to ferrin to make it 1-0 after 15 with baskett easily going down the other way on the shot as we get flashbacks of him conceding left and right at wanderers grounds...a minute later fillion starts his gaffes by spilling a ball thats softly going in his arms

wow pacific coming in with five subs...cutting spending for the cross country trip or a ton of players out? binate makes the bench for what looks like the first time in his pro career

What a disgusting lineup from Pacific. I can understand wanting to rest some players when you are playing 3 games in 7 days...but to sit all of Aparicio, Heard, Reid, Vliet and Toussaint is ridiculous.

Plus, this cost saving strategy of not having a full bench for away matches is really starting to piss me off! I have gone through the match logs for every single CPL game so far this year...this is the 4th time out of 5 away league matches that they have not had a full compliment of subs available. The only match where they had a full bench was the short ferry ride across the water to Vancouver.

This must be coming from ownership because Vancouver FC is doing the same thing! They are the only 2 teams that regularly have only 5 guys on the bench...and they have each done it 3 times already!! (Valour were forced to do it once, but that was when they were in the middle of their injury crisis).

As an FYI...Halifax and Ottawa are the only 2 teams that have had a full bench for every match this season. Kudos to them for giving their rosters the best chance to win each week!

if pacific and vancouver are the only two teams regularly doing this it could mean...yup...that ownership is in cost saving mode...and what comes after that usually? selling minority or majority

These guys have invested more money than anyone. Look elsewhere

Think it was already a given that SiveFive Sports want to unload Pacific and when they were booking the flights a few months back they would already have been aware that season ticket sales for Vancouver FC were less than stellar.
