York spent the week in Halifax? That can't have been cheap to do. Guess that suggests the Baldassarras exit was quite unexpected as something like that would likely have been arranged well in advance..

0-2, Halifax have definitely fallen away in terms of quality of their play since early in the season.

how likely is another york breakdown for another hfx draw?? if youre gheisar you gotta shake it up and make a double or triple sub...omar and daniels a big 0...his vaughan guys not helping him much either

Halifax not looking great, but both of those shots should have been saved.

gheisar turns to another of his vaughan players in nwafornso and he also brings in giraldo for his first pro game after three years...but seems nothing changed as a minute in york makes it 0-3

0-3, would be good to see Halifax have success on the field as well as off it but they have looked dismal this game

Been really disappointed with Omar but there are a few today simply not particularly motivated or interested in putting the effort in. All the goals were preventable but too many Halifax players have been static and passive.

0-3 loss at home for halifax vs dead last york...now they are last without a single win in six regular season games...seven in all competitions...gotta wonder if halifax management is starting to think about if hiring a rookie coach who was gonna bring a bunch of vaughan players was a great idea

They no doubt will be but was he hired along with the Vaughan players because that was the discount plan option? Would be interesting to know where their team budget sits between the salary cap and the floor. Looks like the rest of the league has figured out how to disrupt their slow and methodical possession style so Gheisar is going to have to come up with a new tactical system.

Shocking performance after what looked like a very slow build up to a good season.  Hopefully it’s just a blip.  Very concerning to see how lost we were in the midfield without Callegari.

That would certainly give them plenty of reason for soul searching. Finding their version of Bobby Smyrniotis in the GTA wasn't necessarily a bad idea but recruiting from across L1O and other GTA leagues might have been better than having a Sigma style one club focus with Vaughan Azzurri.
