The clubs met in the semi-finals last year with the Whitecaps winning 2-1.

The winner will face Pacific or TSS Rovers in the next round.

Really too bad that VFC didn't beat York.

It would've been cool to see the Whitecaps go to Langley to play VFC for a Vancouver/Vancouver matchup.  And also would have raised the profile of VFC.

Hasal not starting was the only real surprise for me.  Could have seen Yao starting as well, and he did come on late at least.

Thought the final score was a bit right...even if getting there was a bit odd.  But that's the Whitecaps this season: finishing is a bit of a chore.

That's unfortunate.  I got in right away while going through the main gate.

Match was well attended though I found the crowd eerily quiet throughout the match even with a healthy dose of Whitecap fans.
