tarnado1555362291
It is well known how great a season the following two players had in North American Leagues. I would like to track the goal scoring form of our players in Europe. Post comments or videos on goal scoring form or any that I missed. All goals are for the domestic league only during the 2010 season for summer leagues, and 2010-2011 season for winter leagues. Bertuzzi44
Goals per minutes played would be interesting to see. I would think Jackson might be up there. "Games" is a bit misleading, especially in soccer when if you come onto the pitch in the 93rd minute the stats say "1 game". "Appearances" is slightly more accurate; minutes played even better. Ok I got un-lazy: Jackson has 4 goals in 710 minutes played, or 0.51 strike rate per game (90mins). Not bad! At this rate, 30 GP = ~15 goals. thescottc
How about some sort of league co-efficient a la UEFA?
Razcle
On a side note. What would Gavin McCalium's strike rate be for the Canadian Nats.
Grizzly
On a side note. What would Gavin McCalium's strike rate be for the Canadian Nats. Yes that is funny, he would be something like one goal per minute! Too bad we have never played him for 90 minutes!
tarnado1555362291
Point taken ! I have changed the stats based on minutes played, rate is goals per 90 minutes.
Soro17
Ricketts also had 5 goals in 5 games (384 minutes) in the Europa league qualifying rounds. At one point, he was the leading scorer in the competition. http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/clubs/player=250018679/index.html

canucklefan
Issey Nakajima-Farran joins the leader board with his second brace of the season : http://onside.dk/fodbold-video/superligaen/sonderjyske-ac-horsens-0-3 goal at 3:12 interview at 4:17 After watching a few AC Horsens highlights this season and after watching his finish on the goal, I must say Issey is a poor finisher when he's alone against the keeper. He also missed a good chance to score in the friendly against Brazil back in 2008. However, I'm impressed by his speed, that's what made him one of the most dangerous players in the friendly against Venezuela.

Not the prettiest you'll ever see ! http://www.footytube.com/video/fc-nordsjaelland-v-ac-horsens-66893 I love how much spark he adds to the offense. Most attacking players would be too lazy to follow that play through - he would be fun to watch in some role with Hume.

Nice try from Peters off that header at the end as well. Im guessing PNE will look to sign Hume right now for the January window.

dyslexic nam
Nice post. Great goal too - very well timed run. Unfortunately for Canada, that's clearly offside in CONCACAF.
ChrisB
Nice post. Great goal too - very well timed run. Unfortunately for Canada, that's clearly offside in CONCACAF. Well, only against the US, Mexico or Trinidad. Or in an away game to Central America. Or a hex game. But not a friendly
