Pacific won the previous meeting 2-1 on May 14.

Kind of crazy that I wouldn't be surprised by an Edmonton win, or that they would get out of the basement by doing so.

n'sa still not able to make the matchday team and ulbricht not there either...apparently kane is coming on loan and one of the loan players is leaving

Don't think it's underestimating, none of those guys have been performing well enough to justify consistent starts. Dixon and Baldisimo are fairly even and so are Mavilla and Haynes. I think Merriman is rolling out the same line-up as last game since they did relatively better than the last few games.

So goal #3 for Pacific was clearly offside. Also the goal scorer should have seen yellow for yelling in the face of the keeper after scoring. What a dick.

I feel we were lucky to come away with the win after the wholesale substitutions disrupted the team and allowed Edmonton to get back into the game. At 0-3 it should have been over.

A shout out to the Edmonton crowd. Our contingent from Victoria were all impressed and the energy from the home fans that lifted the team after they got their first goal was insane. Great atmosphere, nice little stadium too. Much better than it looks on TV -would be nice to have a bit of a roof on the west stand though.
