Gian-Luca Posted October 8, 2023 Share Posted October 8, 2023 Somewhat telling on the ability of Bradley Sr to evaluate talent given that Gavran was only signed to the first team due to a rash of goalkeeper injuries - thus far he has easily outperformed two of the three keepers “ahead” of him, if not all three. As for this Owusu, he is worse than useless. TFC has a two on one, instead of passing to Bernadeschi he holds on to the ball way too long, makes sure NYRB gets back into position and then looks to pass it back to the keeper. Then he shouts at Bernadeschi…for what exactly? For making sure he was wide open and available to receive a pass? Could have even been when Sr. was still here. Anyway, none of the signings in the the past 2 years have been good. Franklin as a homegrown is about it. kacbru Posted October 8, 2023 Share Posted October 8, 2023 Not just a cheap Bradley give away, but then he tries to run himself out of the play so that he isn't challenging the ball or closing off the pass. All year it seems he is in the picture on goals against - close enough to make his teammates think he might do something, but just far enough out of the play to do nothing but wave his arms around.
