Match Thread: July 10, 2021 - HFX Wanderers v Edmonton

Match is at 2pm ET on One Soccer.

Both teams did not play mid-week.

Another chance to break our duck today against a team that we have traditionally struggled to break down exception being last year's 3-1 win.  Big game as the Wanderers don't want to run the risk of falling to far behind this early in the season.

My gut tells me that Marshall is going to hit the scoresheet...I think the footballing gods will pay him back after he was robbed against Valour.   I believe there will be goals in this one and it also wouldn't shock me if Ongaro or Aird gets one as well.

I'll say 2-1 to the Wanderers.

Fraser Aird is such a frustrating player. He has so much ability and at times looks a cut above, but he’s just so inconsistent. A different player one game to the next, but again today he looked solid.

He's been like that his whole career. Some days he looks like he belongs at a much higher level, other days he'd be hard pressed to pass as a professional. Hopefully he can finally put it all together
