If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread. LIam put in a Real shift for the team ran himself into the ground. Really happy and proud of him for the character he showed playing back with his age group in a big rivalry game. Fulham and Villa both won their games. Cardiff need 6 points over their remaining 3 games to clinch promotion to the EPL. Fulham and Villa have 2 games left. JLL played 90 as Chemie beat Berliner AK 2-0 in a very important victory for them as far as avoiding relegation if Cottbus does not promote as expected (2 Eastern teams are relegating from 3rd division so if Cottbus does not promote in the playoff 2 teams would relegate from 4th division North East. The last place team is far behind but there is still a race to avoid being 2nd last). After, we could see their coach asked to take over from Gerard López at Barça B, they are in a tailspin, and IMHO he is simply not a very good coach, his replacement would be much better. They have six games to avoid relegation. This is vital for Ballou: if they go down, he'll get loaned out; if they stay in 2nd, he'll stay with them, as it is a perfect fit for him and others of his talent and age group. Also in Spain: Manny Aparicio subbed on m. 61 as Izarra lost to Lealtad, they are in the relegation playoff spot still. One tier lower, neither Andrew Lebre for Almazán, who won, nor Miki Cantave for Rayo Cantabria, who drew, were dressed yesterday for their respective teams.
