- Lars was back starting as Valerenga drew league-leading Stromsgodset 1-1 in Norway's top flight.

- Two other Canadians were back-up keepers in European second divisions today. Santiago was on the bench for Veendam's 2-0 win over Volendam in Holland's Eerste Division while Al-Shaibani was on the bench for Nimes as they lost to Tours 1-0 and slipped into the relegation zone.

The Gladbach-Frankfurt game is live on GolTV right now...thank god OO is healthy!

Hopefully Frankfurt can find a way to come back. They've been playing extremely well as a newly promoted team so far. Would be great to see Occean score a few today.

EF are down 2-0 and OO was responsible for the firt BM goal as he lost possession and the guy who cut the pass went for an amazing 40 yards shot right in the top corner.

But I don't care how OO plays today, I just want him to be healthy next week :)

I would hope the keeper coach at Sivasspor has identified this problem and is working on it with Milan. It's the one glaring weakness in his game and if he can correct it (or mask it) he could definitely move on to greater things eventually.

CYPRUS (1)

Klukowski has a knee injury and did not dress today for APOEL:

"Canadian left back Michael Klukowski is also a major doubt after suffering a knee injury."

DENMARK (2)

Delta BC's Nigel Marples played 90 min for BF Koge as they beat AB 2-0. Koge recently hired a new head coach and it's nice to see that he seems to have faith in the Canadian CB as they climb their way out of the relegation zone.

NORWAY (2)

Pozniak played 90 for Bryne as they got spanked 5-1 by Tromsdalen.

SWEDEN (1)

While one Canadian started in the Allsvenskan another one sat as Stamatopoulos was on the bench for AIK's 1-0 loss to Gefle as they moved one place out of a Europa League spot.

LUXEMBOURG (1)

22 y/o keeper Rick Carreira got his fifth start of the season as his KAYL/TÉTANGE lost 3-1 to DIFFERDANGE before 435 spectators. Is he the first Canadian ever in Lux?http://www.fcd03.lu/news.html?news=90

Germany

Kevin McKenna was not in the gameday squad as Koln and Dresden drew 1 - 1. Hopefully he is just being cautious with his injury and he'll be ready to go on Friday.

Finland

Mason Trafford played 90 minutes for Mariehamn who lost 1 - 0 to Inter Turku.

I reckon that McKenna is already in Canada and that's why he wasn't in the lineup.

I reckon that McKenna is already in Canada and that's why he wasn't in the lineup.

This article seems to imply that he was in the stands and left off of the squad sheet by coach's decision. ??

...and then this one suggests he "remains unavailable" implying that injury kept him out of the squad:

http://www.svenskafans.com/tyskland/Infor-1-FC-Koln-Dynamo-Dresden-457697.aspx

...and then a third seems to confirm it is simply a sporting decision to leave him in the stands and that there are no injuries to the squad:

Obviously we need a German speaker to confirm. Over to Grizz in three, two...
