Blackdude
In case you wonder. Eric Avila will not be eligible to play for TFC in the Champions League because he was registered with FCD and he can't be pulled from the list.

That would be the same for Maicon Santos in Dallas then, no?

Should TFC advance out of the group, then they can submit a new 30 player list.

Yes, they can, but since Avila was once on the roster of a club who participated, he couldn't participate.
ag futbol
Someone on the RPB forum went through the rules and there is a clause that states your only tied to the club if you play, doesn't matter if your on their roster list, but don't see the field. I must have missed that. Can you say what rule?
munseahawk
I stand corrected. Based on how I'm reading this, TFC can not use Avila and Dallas can not use Maicon unless they were not on the original 30 player lists. Rule 5.4 at http://www.concacaf.com/staticFiles/7b/72/0,,12813~160379,00.pdf "Once having been properly inscribed on a Roster List for one Team, in any Phase, a player may not be inscribed on the Roster List for any other Team in the CCL in the same season of competition, in any Phase." On the other hand, TFC could had a player like Dasan Robinson or a future TFC Academy graduate to the team since you can add empty spots if you have some. (I think TFC had 2 spots left)
munseahawk
I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else and really didn't want to start a new thread. Amadou Sanyang has resurfaced. He signed with Seattle on a free transfer about 6 weeks ago. He is playing in their CCL game tonight.
MM2
This should be the final roster move of the year, Dasan Robinson to the Galaxy for Kyle Davies.
BringBackTheBlizzard
Like Marosevic and Eckersley it looks like he was seen as a top prospect at one point but things haven't worked out for him so far in his pro level career: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Davies_(soccer)
