Keegan Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 what about Klukowski and Hirschfeld? I know Hirschfeld's club qualified for a CL spot. Did Brugge qualify for a CL or UEFA spot? I know they (Brugges) are in Europe this year but not sure which competition. What about Atiba with Kobenhavn? Surely they must be in the mix as they always are? Melpomenus Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 Hirschfeld's team got a spot directly to the CL Group stage, no qualifiers, but there's going to be some competition between the keepers, since the club already had the 2nd or 3rd keeper in the country and now they got a new Portuguese one. I'll try to get the rest down later today. Edit: Ok, so I updated most of the other rounds. I didn't include Hainault (Sparta), Stalteri (Spurs), Johnson (Heerenveen), Lensky (Feyenoord) and Begovic (Portsmouth) because of the club situations of all these players. Massive Attack Posted July 14, 2008 Author Share Posted July 14, 2008 Just to bump this thread up, Julian DeGuzman and Deportivo will be playing Bnei Sakhnin of Israel in the last round of the Intertoto Cup. The 2-leg series starts next weekend and finishes the following weekend. Edit: Deptortivo has advanced to the UEFA Cup 2nd qualifying round. Thanks for the heads up. When I first checked the result I didn't see him in the line up. I don't want to add players to the list if they are on the periphery of their respective squads.
