Andrew W
That's almost as many as the Whitecaps! I kid, I kid. Bennett, Chin and Hughes. Battery Canadians on roster

Blue and White Army
You can't be any more Yank than Toronto FC.
Blue and White Army
Wow, they have Byron Alvarez? Portland must have a gutted squad for 2007... Didn't realize they'd picked up Ian Fuller too..

Massive Attack
quote:Originally posted by Blue and White Army You can't be any more Yank than Toronto FC. Why? Because they play in a bigger US based league than the Vancouver Americans? Or because their reserve team is practically the Canadian U-20 team? Free kick
Getting back to the topic at hand, Its good to see that the Canadians in the USL are at least playing on some of teh solidly run and established clubs. Charleston is one of those clubs. The others being Rochester and the two canadian teams. Perhaps, you might inclued even Portland on the list
Gian-Luca
Good to see more ex-Lynx players finding spots on other teams - I still wonder where Aristodemo will end up. I thought Jordan Hughes looked pretty good for Charlseton against TFC & Houston in the pre-season.
Calgary Boomer
Jordan Hughes is even better than his brother Tyler who played with the Lynx a couple of years back. Good for Gordon Chin too.
Regs
Not exactly surprising considering Watty is the assistant coach there.

RS
quote:Originally posted by Blue and White Army You can't be any more Yank than Toronto FC. What a bull**** statement. Five Americans out of 28 roster spots. [8)]
masster
Bennett starts for Charleston. Plays on the right side of midfield as a flank player. He's got speed, his distribution was fine but also gave the ball away a bunch of times when trying to beat people 1-on-1. Hughes comes on for him in the 56th. He scores a valid goal but its incorrectly called back for offside. Besides that he was not visible. Chin is injured. Final score Charleston 0 - Minnesota
