red card
After 863 matches. What is Left? Two matches. Two days. Four nations. 2 spots. One last chance to dance. Failure leads to the abyss. TSN will be showing the 2 intercontinental playoffs as it is likely part of their FIFA rights package. Australia v Peru on Monday @ 1400 EDT. Pre-match starts at @1330 on TSN 1 & 5. Winner goes into Group D with France, Denmark and Tunisia. Australia looks like Canada of a previous generation. Ordinary players with more domestic content than in the recent past. Hoping for sizeable Peru supporters as it will produce a spectacular atmosphere. Costa Rica v New Zealand on Tuesday @1400 EDT. Pre-match starts @1330 on TSN 1 & 5. Winner goes into Group D with Spain, Germany & Japan. red card
The same as it ever was. Australia, France & Denmark meet in the World Cup again. But in Group D rather than C. France & Denmark also together in Nations League.

red card
Big time support for Peru wasn't a surprise. But would Canada had the same level of support as Costa Rica did. johnyb
Free kick
From my experience at past Gold cups, the tico’s can easily get 40k supporters in a US stadium. And in particular if its in the US north east like NY/NJ. I bet there wont be any (or hardly any) ticos support from Costa Rica but there will be tons from the US.
