Guidelines for this thread

  • In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for August 10-16, 2018.
  • If you find updates posted in some other thread then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster.
  • If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here.
  • Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread.

Austria

Scott Kennedy starts for A Klagenfurt against Wattens. 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw.

England

Hoilett starts his first Premier league game since 2015. Game is against Bournemouth. Game on TSN 3. Cardiff lose 2-0 but Hoilett went 90.

Tomori is right in to the 11 for Derby's match with Leeds. Went 90 in a 4-1 loss

Leutwiler is the Blackburn backup against Millwall.

Finland

Viscosi starts for TPS against Honka. No McKendry in the 18. Viscosi goes 90 in a 3-0 loss.

France

Charles-Andreas Brym and Zorhan Bassong start for Lille B against Creteill. Result  was 1-1

Ireland

Ben Fisk is on Derry City's bench for a cup match against Blarney Stone 

Twardek started for Sligo against Longford town

Scotland

Trafford starts for ICTFC against Ayr. Trafford comes off after 68 minutes, 0-0 is the final.

Aird starts for Dundee against Queen of South. Aird goes 90 in a 2-1 win.

Switzerland

Yann Fillion is the back up for Aarau against Wil

Manjrekar James started for FC Fredericia against Hvidovre. 0-0 final

Wootherspoon starts on the St Johnstone bench against Hibs.  Wootherspoon in with 4 to go.

Arfield not in the 18 for Rangers match with St Mirren. Lots of rotation in the squad with an Maribor leg 2 this week

At the risk of opening up the league comparison debate again, that was a nice finish but that was some beer league defending on that goal.

Your right no need to debate, goals are goals, and despite that defending he still needed to finish!
