RS
A little over an hour to go now. I'm so excited to see what our boys can do against arguably the best U-20 squad in the world. Sometimes being unemployed has its perks
Massive Attack
Starting line ups for this match, according to the FIFA match tracker: Canada 1-WAGENAAR Josh (gk) 2-RAMALHO Graham 3-LEDGERWOOD Nik 4-HAINAULT Andrew 5-PEETOOM Brad 8-ROSENLUND Tyler 9-GYAKI Ryan © 10-JOHNSON Will 12-O NEILL Riley 14-EDGAR David 17-LOMBARDO Andrea Colombia 1-ARENAS Libis (gk) 3-ZAPATA Cristian 5-ZUNIGA Juan 6-MORALES Harrison 8-TOJA Juan Carlos 11-OTALVARO Harrison 14-AGUILAR Abel © 15-MORENO Dayro (x) 17-MARRUGO Cristian (x) 18-RENTERIA Wason 19-CASIERRA Mauricio x = carrying yellow card It looks like we're going with 2 strikers, assuming that O'Neill is playing on the wing. Massive Attack
Peters and DeJong, who started against Syria, have been swapped for Lombardo and O'Neill. Is is possible that they are nursing injuries, and Mitchell is saving them for the second half and/or Italy? They were both subbed out of the Syria match. DeJong was our dead ball specialist, and set up Peters goal.
beachesl
Wonder if De Jong is too?
beachesl
Hmm, if I recall, Canada had some of its best energy and attacks early on when Peters and De Jong were on the wings against Syria, altho De Jong didn't have his strongest match. Hope the switch works out.
Kye
Interesting lineup. I'm thinking Lombardo is playing on the left flank, and I really hope Oneil isnt on the right, hes not nearly quick nor skilled enough. He needs to be in the middle for headers. canso
Gyaki is now the captain? Nik was for the first match, non? Little apprehensive about Wagenaar, he clearly lacked confidence and we're gonna need to stop a lot of shots today. Midfield looks a little thin and there's no more pace down the wings. Yikes! They didn't start Rodallega, who had an off game against Italy, but is sposed to be their best player. maybe they're overconfident? I don't know if I'm going to able to stay away until the tape delay!
Free kick
perhaps the exclusion of DeJong and Peters could signifiy a switch in formation. With Lombardo in perhaps Mitchell is going with a 4-3-3. or 4-3-1-

Loud Mouth Soup
Possession was 73-27 in favour of Colombia. Ouch.
Loud Mouth Soup
Sorry to say it, but the Colombians are extremely unlucky to not be destroying us right now.
zacRWE
I haven't seen Canada on the ball for the last 10 min.... Colombia just fireing off long range shots. Its good to see the Colombian bird-man though!
jonovision
Man, I had forgotten how annoying it was following matches on internet match-trackers. Any likely half-time substitutions?
Jason
Canada is really outclassed so far. That Columbian player completely undressed Ledgerwood with his move on the left side. Jason

zacRWE
well Canada can't hold the ball. They are playing good D in the back end, but can't start anything. Wagenaar is playing well, good saves! Who's on Canada's bench? is Peters and De Jong there?

Kye
Arg.. All we did was kick the ball away and try that long ball thing every time, our passing when we tried was atrocious. We need to start generating something.
Timotas
Glad that we're still in the game. If we can get a cheap goal, I think we can definitely pull off a 1-0 victory. Just some comments, I think Josh is keeping us in it with some fantastic saves in the first half and please Dale Mitchell, take off Lombardo... I know he's by himself up there but his passing is horrible and he doesn't hold up the ball at all. Also his foot control is way too slow for these Colombians. Hopefully Peters will come on in the 2nd half for Lombardo, and Gyaki goes up front and Peters take Gyaki's position.
