analyst
Alberto, can you or someone else find out if Luca Dalla Antonia is playing in Italy. He's a 16 year old from BC who apparently went to Italy last fall in hopes of becoming a pro in the future. I don't know which club he signed with. loyola
I don't think that Tom Lindley is still with Sheffield United, a few weeks ago I found this link about him : www.altrinchamfc.co.uk/alt0304y.htm . So it means that last year he was training with this team in the English low leagues.

loyola
He even dissapear from our U-20 program which is quite surprising since as you said he was a high profile prospect.
An Observer
He's also now listed in the U20 player pool as unattached. I too find it quite surprising as last year he was starting for the Sheffield United reserves whereas Gyaki was having difficulty getting a game for the U19s. This year, he didn't seem to go back. It almost seems like a personal choice rather than Sheffields.
Guest Jeffery S.
I see Kevin de Serpa had his contract cancelled by Penafiel at the end of January, he had been playing this season for Mirandela in the north-east division of the fourth tier. Though I have only seen a few game reports with him involved. Wonder where he might be now, back in Ontario?

Ricardo06
I spoke to Carmelo Rago just today. He's informed me that he is playing with U23 Universidad Catolica in Chile. He also mentioned that he is dieing to get a first team contract, don't know what that means. He says that he is in a good environment. The club is paying for his living while plays. He told me he cannot get paid unless he gets signed.

I think he may actually still have a contract with Sheffield. I go to school with him and played on the school team with him a few months ago. Played against him in a friendly recently as well. (This flatters me, I'm nowhere near his level!) So yeah, pretty sure he's just finishing up his high school education and will presumably do something from there... Ivan
Looks like Justin Thompson is playing for Virginia Beach Mariners. He played 75 minutes in their season opening 2-0 loss to Atlanta. His profile on the team website lists his birthday as 1981 and his nationality as Canadian, so it seems like its "our" Justin Thompson.

Danny Boy
I was talking to a friend in Toronto who is playing on a Canadaian National Jewish soccer team. There is a huge event happening in Israel this summer, kinda like a Jewish Olympics. Anyways, the soccer team brought over a player who grew up in Toronto but plays for Maccabi Netanya who are about to be promoted to the top division in Israel. Does anyone have an idea who this is? I couldn't get a name because the player hadn't joined the team yet.

DJT
What's with "soccer_fan"'s posts [EDIT: have been deleted] that seem to be copy-and-pastes of Joe MacCarthy's list? Did he make updates? I can't tell. Let's post individual updates on their own and let Joe update the master list.

I couldn't get a name because the player hadn't joined the team yet. Direct Kicks, which runs on FSWC, has twice profiled a youngster who is playing in Israel. The first time it was with his team Dixie 89ers while they were playing in an English tournament, the second with just him while training in Toronto. Cannot remember the young man's name. I doubt this is the player to which you refer as he is quite young to be playing in the Israeli top league, but does play in Israel during their season then comes home and plays in Toronto in the summers. I think he said he was asked to attend, and accepted, tryouts with the Israeli youth teams. Once he said that, my interest ended which is probably why I cannot recall his name.
