Can't wait to see US fans call "upsets" milestones and proof that MLS>Liga MX*

*Liga MX are 3 games into their season vs around 23 games in for MLS 🙄

I actually think both leagues are pretty equal at this point. Keep in mind we only ever see the top LigaMX teams against MLS. Now we're seeing Juarez and the Mazatlands of the world. If you took the 15th best MLS team vs the 15th best LigaMX team it kinda feels like a push.

By the way.. can we get an FC Cancun or something?

Cancún F.C.. I think they are in the Liga de Expansión MX and I believe they stopped doing promotion/relegation.

So you're saying there's a chance. I think the Expansion thing was an opportunity to trial teams and have some older teams stabilize with these possibilty of getting in to LigaMX

Since sport tourism is so hot right now you gotta think it's gonna happen

It's funny how on Twitter, Montreal fans are just catching up to the fact that the club won't be playing for over 3 and 1/2 weeks... 🤣

Way to cool the buzz / momentum for eliminated clubs...🤪

That's why Euro league don't interrupt their seasons...stupid😁

I'd say CPL dodge a huge bullet by not being invited... that would have been a poisoned gift

A number of leagues take major breaks over Christmas/winter, including the Bundesliga.

In the future it may make more sense to take a break for the group stage.

But then for the the knock-out portion have it played in season.

That's what I would do.

I was thinking the other day that maybe the MLS v MLS matches double as regular season matches. Makes the game more meaningful, and reduces fixture congestion elsewhere.
