Shame he won't stay on in a community, youth building, player development capacity. I think that casts a long shadow in the background though on whomever comes in next. While he and his coaches can should lots of the blame the players on mass really didn't step up and play for him enough imo, Salter and Fernandez aside. Halifax has missed the playoffs in the three normal seasons that have been played. Our issues have remained the same. An inability to finish. We have the fewest goals each season excluding the Island Games. This has been our plague, and has cost us playoff spots. Or top scorers every year have their stats padded by PKs... we don't score from open play. It's wild. Hart has never been able to fix it. Whether the issue is player recruitment, play inspiration, or system, the problem has been ongoing. We need someone new. Love Hart - he is a Nova Scotia soccer legend.
