Where is the supporters section @ Wanderers Ground?

Where are away fans usually located? ( I assume there aren't many )

108/109 for the supporters, I think 110 and 111 as well if there's spill over (don't quote me on that, maybe it's all 4 sections).  There's isn't a dedicated away supporters section that I'm aware of.  I've seen Forge / Ottawa fans etc. sitting through 101 to 107.  I'm talking small groups 4-6 people.

I think this needs attention it is from the Wanderers game today. Security dragging a woman down the steps (very roughly as can be seen) for hanging a banner they deemed inappropriate. The banner said 'You quite - we quit'

I think the situation was a bit more complicated then that.  I was no where near it so I can’t comment directly but I’ve been told this banner was first unveiled in the warm up and proved very divisive with the supporters.

I’m not an expert when it comes to how security is supposed to remove someone who doesn’t want to go so I’ll reserve my opinion on that part.

I was going to comment in today's game thread but figured this might create a bigger conversation. Halifax surely is looking to overhaul heading into next season, and the last five games figure to be a trial of sorts for next year.

From what I've seen over the last two years: I think a few of the internationals should be on their way out. They've leaned on Santos a lot at the back but I haven't been impressed with him at this level. Alex Marshall was an exciting signing, but hasn't really lived up to the hype. Rampersad has been steady for a few years now, but imo he's far from irreplaceable. I'd give Mwandwe a chance to build up some chemistry with a healthy Morelli next year, and maybe keep Garcia around for depth in that attack.

The main focus imo has to be a new goalkeeper. Oxner looked great in year 1 after Williams fell flat, but has looked like a case of the yips ever since. Keep Baskett, and try to bring in Jordan Tisseur from PLSQ or a Canadian guy plying his trade in Europe like Yann-Alexandre Fillion.

Salter surely sticks around in the attack. Maybe Bent or some of the new young attackers for depth.

JGL and Daniels have too much ability to move on from them imo, but they need to find consistency.

At the back, Schaale isn't likely leaving but gotta hope he can rediscover his year 1 form. Fernandez looks to be a good prospect, definitely worth staying around. I assume Matthew Arnone has moved on from the professional game, but someone needs to find his number and ask him to come back lol.

@Pottsy3Great post.  I’m a bit uncertain about Daniels, the talent is there but he just never seemed to fit the system and, from the casual observer, lacked the passion or should I say is almost always out of form?  He didn’t dress today so I’m getting the vibe he won’t be back.

@jonovision I think Hart should go.  Bringing him back will probably cost a few season tickets.  Where there’s risk there’s reward though.  I think people are ready for something different though… even if it doesn’t change our general position in the standings for a few seasons.

The big question and probably determines the magnitude of any overhaul: a 5th year of Hart? Yes or no?

Would not be surprised if a replacement was named in the within a week or two.  Give new management some time to evaluate the players before the end of season and determine options.

Oh isn't that delightful?

Not sure I'd call it rough, but all the same, for hanging a banner?  Seriously?

I dont work security, but I do know a few things about getting tossed from places.  That seemed pretty reasonable..if you stay on your feet they will usually walk you...THEN bang you against the doors on the way out.

Maybe its time to move on from Hart, but they better take some time and think about who they are bringing in.  Is there another coach with ties to the region??  A Usports coach maybe??

You don't consider that rough? Your tougher then me!  lol

Seriously though yes the banner said 'You Quit - We quit'. Club did not want the banner displayed however it is not clear what role they played with security in all this. There are going to be some meetings. The individual dragged out has been part of our section since the start and is well liked. One of the gals on the Privateers board of directors pleaded with security to let her help and calm the situation and escort the person being evicted out safely and they restrained her. Many people in the kitchen and very concerned and have heard some say they also dont feel safe their any more - thats really not a good thing.

Suspect you already have a good idea what it was, if the banner contained nothing security would pick up on by themselves as obviously offensive. Sounds like somebody was on a major power trip if that's all it takes to get ejected. Given where the Wanderers are in the standings a backlash from the more vocal portion of the fanbase should be expected and the response from management should be to explain what has gone wrong and what is being done to turn it around.
