Match Thread: July 17, 2021 - Pacific v Forge

Forge won the previous meeting 3-0.

Time to see if Kah can unlock Forge or if we are just in the fight for 2nd.

Sitting outside my back door, mobile playing OneSoccer's coverage whilst enjoying my umpteenth beer and trying to explain to the neighbours kids that I'm listening to "the match".

It's a great strike but not sure Irving shouldnt have been better positioned and certainly better protected. 

Pacific are dead set at dribbling it into the net and simply werent committing people into the box. They have to now. But it's been dias and maybe a late basset run. Bustos wants to hang back all the time and generally everyone else is behind the ball. They have to be better. Forge just being patient and winning without playing particularly pretty. Champions form.

I think Pacific were very cautious because Forge looked quite dangerous on the counter even though nothing came of their forays, Bustos was good on the ball but really needed more support, credit to Forge for keeping a good shape with players not in their normal positions, a Nanco slip I think factored into the Pacific goal!
