Rhian Dodds scores for Kilmarnock as they defeat Dunfermline 4-0 this afternoon, not sure how many he has this season, not many.

But a good way to celebrate the contract extension.

Stephen Ademolu scored the only goal in an away win for Trelleborg against Ljungskile a couple of hours ago. Might also be worth noting from his performance last weekend that not only did he score one goal, he also assisted the two others and was part of every scoring opportunity his team had. He got great press reviews, obviously. Trelleborg at the top of the table, at least until tomorrow.

Perhpas it's time FY gave him a serious look. Will he be on the Gold Cup roster ?

Everything goes very good for Adam Wallace and Roeselare in the Belgian division 2 final round

They won their third match in a row and are still leading, win 9 points at half competition

Geel is second with 4, Antwerp has 3 and Waasland 1

If Roeselare wins only one of its three last matches and Geel doesn't win all three, they are promoted

It can already happen next Thursday

Isn't Wallace a Jamaican international ?

Rob Friend scores Molde's biggest goal of the season, as Molde draw RBK on the road 1-1 in front of 16,000 spectators. Friend scores the goal as the lone striker in the Molde formation.

Oliver Occean and Odd Grenland lose 1-0 away to Viking.

Bernier/Tromso plays 90 and picks up a yellow card as TIL go down 4-2 on the road to Fredrikstad.

Rob Friend now has 2 league goals, Oliver Occean has 1 league goal.

Wallace did play for national youth teams in Jamaïca and was also selected by Canada !

With the new rules, he can now choose for which team he will play, if he's ever selected

And... he has two other nationalities ! Irish and English

Adam Wallace could have done a switch with FIFA prior to Jan 1 of this year (when the grandather time-limit for those over 21 died), but he didn't, so he is NOW permannetly cap-tied for Jamaica because of playing for them at the WYC in 2000 (Jamaica are still looking at him, although money limits the number of overseas players they can take over).

His father recently told me that his new coach at Roselare has told him they will not renew his contract this year ( he has had a bad stretch with injuries ), so he is looking for something (and has got some positive responses) in the lower English and Holland divisions.

Malmo lose top spot to Helsingborg

STOCKHOLM, May 22 (Reuters) - Champions Malmo lost their lead in the Swedish first division to Helsingborg following a 2-0 defeat at GIF Sundsvall on Sunday.

Helsingborg returned to first place thanks to a 2-2 draw with Kalmar which put the southern club on 14 points from seven rounds. Malmo dropped to third place with 13 points.

Newcomers BK Haecken beat Gefle IF 2-1 and climbed into second place, level with Malmo but ahead on goal difference.

Sundsvall, struggling in 11th place, sealed only their second win in seven games, Andreas Hermansson scoring both goals.

Kalmar looked on their way to a comfortable win when they grabbed a 2-0 lead against Helsingborg, Cesar Santin netting twice in the first half.

But Helsingborg raised their game after halftime and Atiba Hutchinson made it 2-1 in the 49th minute before substitute Oliver Karekezi grabbed the equaliser 14 minutes from time.

Dani Fernandes played the whole match in a Paok Salonica friendly vs the Kuwait national team, winning 2-0 before some 4,000 fans. The league resumes next week, after Olimpiakos beat Aris for the Cup. Any word on Kappos being present in that final?

It looks like Kappos did not play.

There is one week left in the Greek season, but Aris is effectively relegated. Greece's Sports Tribunal has ruled that Aris will be docked three points for the acts of fan violence last week. Aris has appealed the decision, but it does not look good. The club was also fined 100 thousand Euros and has to play their next six home matches behind close doors.

Speaking of our Norwegian Canucks, Rob Friend is now the 20th rated player in the Norwegian top flight. Occean and Bernier have slipped down to the 80s. Interesting since Occean and Bernier are automatic choices (mine included) on most of our speculative national team posts.
