Daniel
Last time I watched it was in 9th grade (like 5 years ago) and in school, but I didn't like it that much. 0-0 22' I propose we all join in on the chat on http://www.impactsoccer.com/forum/chat.php . Anyone interested???
Daniel
Also, Chin was the captain in Charleston, while Tiba is wearing the armband tonight.

Daniel
Sportsnet should have a new ad campaign: "My name is Daniel, and I live in a Third World soccer nation."

matthew
I would join Daniel, but that chat is one of the many thing my work has blocked from my computer. ( come on you reds
Gordon
I am looking at the Canadain bench and I am quite impressed with the quality of the subs too: Ledgerwood, Lemire, Dutra and Godfrey. Mitchell will have some substitution options, unlike the senior team in recent months.
Rodway
Would anyone be dissapointed with a tie in this game. Or do you think we should push for the win and really put ourselves in the drivers seat?
Gordon
39' 0-0 still. Hopefully its a good show.
matthew
I'd be over the moon if we got a result and scored, but frankly I'd take a 0-0 draw in a heartbeat. Gives us confidence and makes everyone else's games against Brazil harder. But there's a lot of time for us to find a winner and some insurance. While I would admire Mitchell for going for broke, with tough teams like Australia and Czech in the group, I think every point vital.
loyola
I would say that a tie is more realistic against Brazil but if they aren't that good this year go for the win. If they are all over us, go for the tie.
matthew
Is it safe to give away the Argentina/Spain result? Gabi scores in the 25th and it's 1-0 Spain. He also got booked, excessive celebration maybe?
RS
Have the day off, decide to wake up early (after a night of a few too many drinks) to "watch" the match tracker, and all it gives me is the lineups??? What the ****???

matthew
Hey I have to start work in six or seven hours, I haven't slept and I'm at work if one more person says 'boy you're here early today' I'm going to hit them.
RS
This just highlights the sheer stupidity of not having this match on one of our many sports channels.
DJT
This match tracker is a piece of crap. Remember what they had at the WWC? That was the best I've seen for soccer. So where is it now? Why do they go backwards? Does it have something to do with Phillips not sponsoring it this time? You can't even see the scores from the other games on this thing. Daniel
It probably has something to do with Phillips (a US team sponsor) not sponsoring them and (especially) the lesser importance of this tournament in NA. Because who is gonna follow BFA-PAN live?

(Sorry for being repetitive... just really pissed off right now) Sportsnet is too damn conservative. They get their best numbers for various NTs in World Cups yet shy away thinking they won't get the viewers. No effort to try to build on the success. Gian-Luca
Lets not leave Fox Sports World Canada out of the hammering as well - they are primarily a soccer channel. If they don't take up opportinuities like this to show international Canadian soccer, why are they even around as a semi-separate entity? They might as well just give us the regular FSW on those digital packages.

And because they have gotten 100,000s of viewers on occasion for soccer games, so they have first hand knowedge of the potential.
