If you find updates posted in some other thread then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster. If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread. Turkey Karabukspor 0 - 1 Boluspor Ricketts played 71 minutes and SCORED the game winner. Besiktas 3 - 3 Kasimpasa Atiba goes 90 and assisted on a through ball to Gomez to tie it up at 2-2. shermanator Posted November 1, 2015 Share Posted November 1, 2015 Norway 1 division: Simon Thomas started and got the shutout in Strommen's 1-0 win over Kristiansund Adam Straith played a full 90, picking up a yellow in the 83rd minute in Frederikstad's 1-1 draw with Nest-Sotra Ethan Gage was an unused sub in Baerum's 2-1 loss to Bryne. Baerum have been relegated to the 3rd division. This was the final set of games for the season. I wouldn't mind seeing Thomas stay as the #1 keeper at Stommen next year as he's finally gotten a run of games and back into the national team picture. I would prefer that Straith move up to a higher level but the key for him is actually playing so Frederikstad has been good for him in that regard. He grew up in Canada and was a part of TFC's inaugural Academy class before moving to Porto. He'll be 23 in less than a month and only had 1 cap for Portugal U21s.. 3 years ago. He would be wise to switch back to us ASAP but I get the feeling if/when he does it will be next cycle. Portugal is his first priority and these daddy's boys have us as a distant thought.
