no joke, Haidar Al-Shaibani is a former.... North York Astro, seriously. For reasons we probably don't have to discuss they've honestly been helping to develop some very good keepers (a lot of squads around the league would probably love to have either of North York's keepers).

It's half time in that match and their still down 1-0, their in tough against Auxerre, I haven't paid much attention to them for a while but even in division two they still have a handful of strong players I recognize (Sorin, Coulibaly, Le Tallec and Hengbart... *phoney TV voice* Thanks football manager! ).

Edit: FT 2-0, that's not exactly a terrible result considering the teams, if he made a enough saves he might have had an alright game anyway.

Haidar gets the start in net for Nimes as they are away to Auxerre. Currently down 1-0 in the 1st half on a 12th minute goal.

The two goals can be seen on the following video starting at 0:22 where he gets a hand on the initial shot but the scorer puts in the rebound. Can't really fault Haidar on either goal.

REB with one goal and one assist in a 3:0 over Carl Zeiss Jena yesterday, as usual he didn't play as striker again. Today is the last friendly before the season against FSV Zwickau, but he most likely won't play since he went 90 yesterday. Pak wasn't signed, in a rather weird story - at first everything was done, and then suddenly he asked for more time to make a decision, before it was mysteriously cancelled. Well, I'm not too unhappy that none of Eintracht's money will go to North Korea, to be honest, though.

Atiba Hutchinson played 90 in a friendly against Union Berlin. Started at right back, then slid into midfield in the second half to cover for an injury.

Where/how did he play in midfield? Defensive midfielder? More attacking minded?

Europa League Q's:

APOEL 2 - Aalesund 1 Klukowski not in the mix yet. Presumably he can enter at the next stage as APOEL qualifies and move on to the third qualifying round.

AIK 3 Lech Poznan 0 Stamatopoulos on the bench.

Kalmar 1 - Young Boys 0 Simpson out injured.
