Jeremy
Maybe at the end of this we can see if the format was enjoyable. If not then perhaps we can change it for next season.
ThiKu
^Yes of course. That's what I was getting at.
El Hombre
Dammit, I go away for work and the league fills up. I guess the John Tesh Experience will not be defending last year's title. Good luck everyone.

Good luck everyone. haha, if you select an All-Canadian roster you can name yourself the John Tesh Impact Experience in reference to Impact being the 19th MLS squad next year! Your roster can include Donovan and Rochat as "sort of" Canadian!
El Hombre
Yeah. Maybe I'll do that next year. Probably didn't really have time for it this year.
killgod
Could we have this thread stickied and last year's thread unstickied? Thanks! Toyed around with this some more last night, starting to understand how it all works and messed with my roster a bit. Is having a strong bench worthwhile? BuzzAndSting
No clue, KG! To either of your questions. Could we open it up to one more team? It doesn't make sense not to have the champ from last year.

Saviola7
no problem here.
El Hombre
If you're talking about letting me in (last year's champ) then don't worry too much about it. I doubt I'll have much time for it. 2011 is going to be super busy for me at work. Plus it goes against my mantra of always going out on top! killgod
vote? I say allow as many people that want to play as possible.

Ivan
^ Yup. Limiting to 18 was okay if there was a draft, but since it is a free for all, open it up.

killgod
What are segments and how does that work? I'm taking a wild guess than you get 20 transfers per segment or something?
ThiKu
Appears to be the case? I am trying to sort out the negotiated salary option.
munseahawk
1st segment will run for 10 weeks. From what I've been able to figure out you get 20 transfers for the segment, as rosters will be reset at the end of the segment. Moving players from the bench into the lineup do not count against the 20.
ThiKu
How did the first week go for all??? Talk about regretting the signing of Keller! Sheesh. After the Vancouver-TFC game I quickly picked-up Hassli and Dunfield! Dropped Joe Cannon for the Houston GK, ... And took the armband away from Landycakes and gave it to Hassli as they play a "poor" Philadelphia. Now realizing Teibert, and Chiumento are probably both out - Teibert for sure, so I am not sure who will serve Hassli! But whatever.....mid-table and hoping the level of scoring continues at least! killgod
im sitting in 4th right now, good start i guess. didn't take advantage that LA/SEA players had two matches in the first week like some people did! Oh well. I got rid of Frei, he's a good keeper but I have a feeling Toronto's defence is going to cost him valuable fantasy points throughout the year. Guest Ed
I got caught not being attentive to my roster and had Julian de G in midfield for the opener. Left a few points on the bench (Dunfield).
munseahawk
Ed, unless you had another MF not playing, then it should have automatically swapped Dunfield in for you. I had that happen to my team as well. I made the mistake of starting Brian Ching from Dynamo.
Guest Ed
^ You are right. Never noticed that it did that, but I last looked on Sunday or so.
ThiKu
I took advantage of LA Seattle...to the tune of a 0-1 loss for Keller, and Pablo Angel/Omar Gonzalez not playing!
Andrew W
I had a good first week, but kinda brain cramped by leaving Will Johnson in the midfield for this week. He was let go for international duty so he'll miss the game against LA. I also had Cummings from Colorado left on my team list. Not having international breaks is difficult as is keeping on top of players called up in comparison to other fantasy games where the league's stop for international play. My big picks in week one were having Omar Bravo and Charlie Davies both playing. Had Dunfield as well and DeRosario so did decently well. Pickens in net did okay as well. I should be back to reality this week thanks to bad roster management.
