denis
Expect Radzinski to start as Boa Morte and others are still out with injury.
Guest Ed
Ryan Gyaki (pictured below) scored the lone goal in a Sheffield United Reserves B match last week against Darlington.
Ivan
So is the reserves team called the B team, or is there actually a Reserves A and Reserves B team?

Ivan
Thanks Ed .... but I had hoped it was the former. Seems he is further away than I thought.
loyola
Hume does it again, this time from the PK spot. It's 1-1 between Leceister and Crystal Palace. Peters and DeVos started for Ipswich who's leading 1-0 over Southend. Both games are at the half.
bettermirror
2 reserves teams? how many clubs actually do that? what league do the B reserves play in? I've only ever heard of a Reserves League and not a Reserves B League.
Loud Mouth Soup
Youth Team (U19), perhaps?
Guest Ed
I don't pretend to know much about development/reserve teams in the UK but it is a separate team from the youth setup. Here is the latest table(s) for the Reserves B team of the Blades. http://www.sufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Match/ReserveBTable/0,,10418,00.html
canadiankick97
Radz played the full 90 against Villa today. His well-worked cross resulted in Volz's goal. 1-1 was the final in an extremely wet affair.
Ashton Gate
Jaime Peters laid on the first goal for Ipswich and played the full 90 mins in their win today. Not many managers I know will be looking to make wholesale changes to a team that wins 3-1 away from home so this augers well for Peters. Add to the fact that Hume is entrusted with a penalty for Leicester and converts in front of 28,000 home fans adds up to two very positive devlopments for these young Canadian players. Ivan
Placentino has scored for Massese today in a 1-1 draw. Someone named Ensaliva (according to livescore) has scored for Panionos, as they lead 2-0. If not a coincidence, Tam has his first in Greek soccer. Daniel
quote:Originally posted by Sigma Simpson is taken off in the 42nd minute for Kladno today against Teplice. http://www.rds.ca/soccer/chroniques/215548.html Simpson was battling for his life shortly after a violent elbow to the head. He seems in better condition, but is still in the IC.
Daniel
Why aren't we doing JDG2 anymore? He played 51 minutes, after which he was subbed off because of a yellow card. Feyenoord had two reds and lost 0-4 to Ajax. "Dwight Tiendalli and Jonathan De Guzman both had early chances, with Tiendalli forcing Maarten Stekelenburg into a good save." From Soccernet's match summary: 7 yellow cards for dissent between 53' and 86'.
Guest Ed
Dwayne de Rosario has a PK saved by Chivas keeper Brad Guzan late in the opening game of the Western Conference semi-final today. Guest Jeffery S.
Fernando Aguiar played 90 as Gondomar beat Gil Vicente 1-0 at home. They are midtable after 7 matches. The rival Gil Vicente is finally playing in the 2nd division after their long protest for demotion for an illegal player last year almost ended in major UEFA sanctions against all of Portuguese football. So the entire division is on a different match day and they will play a lot of midweek matches so GV can make them up.

It would not have been unfair if FCK had added 2-3 goals more to their win against a very toothless looking Viborg team, since especially Swedish Fredrik Berglund and Canadian Atiba Hutchinson wasted some huge opportunities for FCK. All-in-all Hutchinson did well in midfield but also showed his usual weakness of not being quite sharp enough at finishing when he gets the chance to score some goals.
