I don't know about head coach but pesch as our striker coach would be a dream, maybe he could influence Dero with his calm collected demeanor, cause honestly thats all most of our attackers lack, the cool finish which is really all pesch has got and whichis probably the most important attribute.

dont think thats the kind of skill one can teach. pesch could never score for us anyway.

All is not well in the land of the Fosse. The natives are getting quite restless and there is talk of relegation - already.

Apparently Leicester played better tonight if that counts for anything.

The natives are restless in Suffolk too. Palace didn't play very well but beat Ipswich at home and then lost to Wolves today. Peters' starting spot might be in peril and DeVos is injured, but passed a late fitness test to play today, but apparently looked a little laboured. It's frustrating that Peters' best game was against Lazio, but in the world of the Colaship he shines less. It is rounding out his game though. We'll see, Ipswich really can use a win.

cheers,

matthew

He's scored more goals for Canada than any other active player.

I've always thought Pesch's main asset was his quickness. That's also something you can't teach. But I like the fact that so many of the last generation of CNMT players are eager to come back to Canada and help the sport.

Ajax 2- Copenhagen 1. Copenhagen will not be pleased with that result, being the stronger team for the vast majority of the match (an opinion shared by Dutch television). Atiba had a very good first half, not spectacular but very solid going both ways. He seemed to drift a bit in the second half, taking two unnecessary fouls and a yellow card close to the 60 minute mark. Despite dominating, Copenhagen mostly seemed a touch away from the really good opportunities. Ajax did not create much, but Huntelaar was allowed to get free twice and Copenhagen and Atiba paid for it.

ONES TO WATCH Jaime Peters has been in top gear during pre-season and may take his chance to impress. Owen Garvan will be an important player for us in the middle of the park, while Nicky Forster should rack up a decent goal tally if he has better luck with injuries. BOO-BOY Sam Parkin needs to start scoring at home to win over the faithful.

The only major signing of the summer is that of new gaffer Jim Magilton! We may start with the same bunch of players who finished last season in the worst league position for 40 years. Hopefully Jim will instil some enthusiasm and give clean slates to some who need a second chance. Fingers crossed for some early momentum to build confidence for the team and on the terraces. WE'LL FINISH With some luck Jim will get us a top-half finish and maybe even shock a few with a run for the play-offs. GOING UP West Brom, Palace and Southampton via the play-offs. GOING DOWN Hull, QPR and Sheffield Wednesday.
