So if say a pub has access to this game on sportsnet in Calgary via sattelite, does that mean the game will be showed at the same time (tape delayed 8 a.m.) or will the pub being shoing the game live at 7a.m. (9 a.m. ET) ???

If a pub has sattelite, it in all likelyhood gets all 4 sportsnet feeds from around the country

Would any pub be opened to show it at 7:00 am (or even a few hours later), if it is being showed at most homes free of charge, even if on a hours delay? Even Limericks wouldn't do this. It's not like it's on Setanta on and they can charge $20 to desperado footy fans (all power to them and other outfits like the Crown and Anchor, at least they offer it and take the risk).

SportsNet may have been trying to get the quarter-final game on since the day Canada qualified for the final 8, but there's no doubt Voyageur e-mails and phone calls made them try harder. Great work. We made it happen. Good stuff all around.

...or may have tried to get an earlier WYC game, but couldn't come to good enough terms. The interset this week may have made it a better financial plan to pay the piper (Where's that fly of Cheetah's?)

Anyway, I think Sportsnet has delivered. Congrats to all!
