sorry, was too tipsy to message last night.

United came out scoring in the first half, consistently finding space between the lines and exploiting that well. By the half they were up 3-0. They passed out of the back extremely well and Camargo was great at keeping the ball. Extremely intelligent player who just does so many little things right, very balanced. After the first goal Ben Polk, United's leading scorer, went down with an injury. This let Jarek Whiteman into the game, who has been with United from the start. He would score the third goal just before half.

The second half was a very different game, NYRB's came out with intent and United must have felt like the final was over. They conceded on a free kick, and then United scored on a quick break. 4-1 and then Red Bulls came back and scored two more. Made for some nervy last moments but in the end United really deservedly won the game.

Poz has been interesting. He has given Stuart a lot of credit, but we really only had like 5 returning players. Pozniak though has been brilliant. Really hope he comes back next year. Saying that, he needs to have a longer season with a club to see what he can do.

Former KW United Keeper Nathan Ingham has been signed to FC Edmonton:

Should be really interesting to see. I know Edmonton has a funny history with Canadian keepers. Nathan was a real leader last year for United, but it might not have happened at all as Nate and Darrin Macleod made a deal that they wouldn't got to the same team, Darrin chose TFC. Both are excellent players that have big professional futures in front of them. The latest word is that Darrin might be back for United.

Two more players, Julian Beuscher and Ben Polk both signed MLS deals. That brings United up to 16 players who have signed professional deals after 3 seasons in the PDL. Next year I expect that to increase again with Camargo.

Pozniak is off to TFC II.

We keep getting the best and the brightest talents at this level but then end up going to full-time gigs. Was really hoping we could get one more year out of Pozniak but he was clearly in high demand after a PDL championship win and CIS championship win.

Stuart Neely was the same last year, amazing at his job and nearly impossible to keep to an amateur gig. Be interesting to see who coaches this year.
