^ With one match left in the season it looks likely that Haidar will finish the season with 15 starts as the second keeper to Merville. Decent contribution to a successful season. His contract runs out at the end of June so let's see if Nimes values him still.

In Romania, CFR drew Steaua 1-1 while Vaslui defeated Universitatea 1-0. Vaslui would keeps 2nd place and a Champions League birth. Borjan gets his usual nod to round out the season and earned his 7th clean sheet in 15 appearances. Vaslui were perfect since they bowed out of the Romanian Cup with 9 straight wins.

Also in Switzerland, Josh Simpson played 69 min as YB defeated last place Sion 3-0

Was this not Borjan's 5th straight clean sheet? Or did I get that wrong?

Oh boy, not good news (from FC Basel match tracker in german):

Injury - Joshua Simpson

Nasty injury to Simpson, who turned upon landing after a header probably has the leg. The Bayern players have immediately called for the nurses.

Josh set up his teams goal with a one-two passing play to spring the scorer Costanzo in on net. Our chances in WCQ just took a turn in the wrong direction.

Kenny Stamatopoulos got the clean sheet last night in AIK (stockholm)'s win versus GAIS (Gothenburg). AIK scored in the 90th minute and with the win are now 3rd in the table with 21pts (5W-6D-1L).

I believe this was Kenny's 4th straight start since the injury to no1 keeper Ivan Turina. Interestingly enough, Turina was apparently fit to play in last night's contest but Stama was given the start.

Good news and another keeper in good form for the CMNT...

6th straight start, and agreed! Although I'm still personally liking Borjan, we definitely have form depth at keeper right now.

May 2 Helsingborg 0-0 AIK

May 8 AIK 1-1 Djurgarden

May 13 Elfsborg 1-0 AIK

May 16 Orebro SK 2-2 AIK

May 20 AIK 5-2 IFK Norrkoping

May 24 AIK 1-0 GAIS

2 clean sheets, 2 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss, and 6 goals let in, in 6 games. Not bad!

Borjan to compare got loaned to Vaslui Feb 23rd of this year.

He started all 19 games after getting loaned.

14 wins 4 losses 1 draw

7 clean sheets 17 goals against (same GAA as Kenny)

However in Borjan's last 9 games

he is 9-0-0 with 5 clean sheets and only 5 goals let in.

Great form.

With Hirschfield our usual guy, Hart has some choices to make!

I’ll add AIK to the promotion/relegation thread as they are currently in a Europa League position with 19 games remaining
