4 bang on and only 2 out by more than one place right now. Don't think I did too badly. Thought the Cavalry would struggle a bit because of who was leaving or retiring but they obviously recruited well for this season. Maybe Tommy Wheldon Jr deserves more of the hype on moving up to coach at a highler level than Bobby Smyrniotis does? His team were the real champions in 2019 as well as this season and were top of the initial round robin in 2020, only lost out on goal difference in 2021 and were two points away last season.

Probably have the most experienced coach in the league. 

Nothing about the pre-season suggests they are not ready to compete head to head with the best. 

They will have decent home support, based on preview matches, in a stadium configuration that will help push them.

Being close to a major airport the travel options are better than for most other teams, and besides, half the league is west of the Great Lakes. So travel won't hurt VFC as it would, say, the Whitecaps.
