Hello,

I thought people here may be interested to listen to this Alex Bunbury interview. It's very good. Alex discusses some amazing stories from his playing days, his coaching philosophy and goes into his plans to bring a team to Montreal/St. Leonard/Quebec!!! I encourage everyone to tune in, he's so engaging and well spoken.

I agree it is a good interview. He stays calm about the CPL and does not overstate any current projects. He also explains the situation with Teal very well.

Bunbury, like many past NT players, can have an overstated ego (which former NT player is doing anything significant on a top level in his retirement? Anyone?), but he does illuminate some things that are very interesting, like his whole sequence into Europe, fascinating (trial at Le Havre, time at Celtic, stint at Aston Villa, none under contract, and finally sign at West Ham and get frozen out, as he says for playing for Canada, ending up at Maritimo on Madeira--I checked his Transfermarkt bio and those clubs and half year before West Ham are summarized with a question mark).

His rundown of former coaches was also very good, eg Tony Taylor, who he reminded us had a birthday recently.

The podcasters have some positives, like their perspective on coaching and critique of pay to play.
