Adopted by her mother Karen Massey when she was just 2 months old from an orphanage in Ghana. Kayza grew up in Ottawa but played in the U17 World Cup for Ghana, helping them reach the Quarter Finals. She then made the switch to Canada 2 years later and played in another U17 World Cup. From there Kayza has gone from strength to strength making the Canada U20 team and earning a scholarship to NCAA powerhouse West Virginia University. An incredible story that is even better when you actually listen to Kayza talk. Both Marc and Stephen were blown away at her positive attitude and inspiring messages. I love Fleming but her form in the last 5 games with the National team (She Believe Cup and the last 2 games) hasn't been impressive. She scored a great goal v Wales, but she isn't bossing games at all and losing the ball easily. Hopefully it's a blip as to do anything at the Olympics she will have to raise her level of play.
