I should be getting the rest of the rosters done this week and I'll also have the flags ready for the game (each team will have 6 flags total).

Any suggestions for the teams that I could add for the flags? For instance, I don't know personally, but in Saskatoon do they have some sort of saying in the soccer system there that I could implement somehow? Or do Vancouver have a specific cheer that I could add?

Also, thanks for the roster Gordon. And I'm not really that dark strobe! haha

More sponsors...? (might be duplicates)

Steam Whistle (Toronto beer company)

Giant Tiger (biway-plus sort of store found in smaller markets, and Hamilton)

Cdn Autoworkers Union (supported the Lynx for a bit)

Harvey's (yum)

Fortino's (Southern Ontario supermarket)

Mr. Sub (I think they are Cdn)

Lakeport Brewery (good cheap Hamilton beer)

Thanks for the input guys! I'll be sure to add Kurusawa and Marc pretty soon (I don't think 'sideburns' are a possible accessory, but I'll try~). I'm more or less done with sponsors, but thanks for the extra ideas just in case.

Anyone is free to post rosters for teams not already done... or negotiate with the first poster of a roster to make any changes.

As for the kits... as I mentioned, the ones included in the patch will be 'fantasy' kits. But I'll include some 'real' kits in the download... so people can choose what they like. If I feel up to it, I might include some other alternate fantasy kits as well. Anyone feel like coming up with some kit designs on their own? You don't have to be familiar with the FIFA file formats, you just have to be able to explain (using a picture preferably) what you'd like your teams kit to look like.

The traditionalists in Winnipeg will probably kill me, but I always thought that a great name for their club would be the "Winnipeg Wanderers"

I had half and hour to kill, so I came up with this:

Winnipeg_Wanderers.gif

It looks better when it is normal sized. :)

p.s. - Strobe_z, how do you get really clear images from Illustrator to the web? Mine always come out fuzzy (probably because I'm using Paint or Word as a go-between)

Cheers.

EDIT: Wow, that worked well. Thanks!

Resize the image using the scale function, and export or "Save For Web" and export it as such. I've never had a problem.

HamiltonSteelers has got the answer there.... I usually export mine to photoshop first though to 'spiffy' them up a bit, but there's no reason you can't save images as .gif or .jpg directly from Illustrator.

Cooks... wanna play on the Calgary Mustangs? Just gimme the 'specs'. ;)

what is the purchasing power of these teams? will the lynx be able to lure dwayne de rosario? will the whitecaps be able to nab stalteri (whom is sorely underrated in this game as it is)?

That's a good question.... I'm not quite sure. There is a 'ranking' variable for the leagues, but I'm not sure if that restricts their purchasing power relative to the other leagues in the game. That's #33 on the list of things to look into.
