I'm sure Terry or spin-doctors (either his agent or with the club) can make a PR gain by lauding how he "chose" club. Good way to endear oneself to the fans. By the way, I think there may be some truth to all of this. Largely for two reasons. 1). Exactly the sort of place Portsmouth would be looking for players. Snatch a diamond-in-the-rough on the cheap.
