DJT
I will post my videos of all the matches later. I'm taking my time with these since I'm busy watching the Olympics. In the mean time, I figure people can access the archives on ctvolympics.ca (though sorry to those outside Canada). The quality of those above sounds great, but then the file sizes are probably pretty large.

(And the 720p ones are pretty darned large; over 3.5GB).
Lord Bob
Bumping this up to see if DJT has posted his video yet! (I say this in particular because I wasn't able to find any non-broken video of the Canada - France match that didn't have Russian commentary!) DaveBrett
I have recorded every USA women's match for the past 20 years. For the first time at the London Olympics the NBC networks here in the states showed almost every women's soccer match of each of the other teams in the tournament, so I recorded them too. They are listed on my web site: http://www.davebrett.com/Women.htm Dave
Lord Bob
Bumping this thread to see if any of you guys can upload video, particularly of Canada - France and Canada - Japan, given that lots of people are looking at this forum around men's WCQ time. Joe MacCarthy
Geez if I could figure out how to record a stream, I'd get the BBC streams which are still available. Their commentators were very complimentary towards Canada as an unbiased source. VLC is supposed to be able to do this (record stream) but it doesn't seem to want to work for me. Joe MacCarthy
DJT, do you have these games? I'm looking for the Canadian games, GB/USA/France/Japan. ctvolympics.ca AFAIK doesn't have audio commentary and that's what I want.
rkomar
The Canada/Japan game is on youtube. It's missing the first 10 or 15 minutes, but the rest is there. Some of the others may be there, too, but I didn't look that hard for them. The official feeds on youtube seem to have been pulled, though. Joe MacCarthy
I'm looking for the CTV/TSN/SN games or whoever broadcast them.
Mango
I'm looking for the CTV/TSN/SN games or whoever broadcast them. All of their Olympic videos have been removed from their YouTube channel because as of January 1st they are no longer the rights holders. Your best bet right now is www.youtube.com/olympics. There is no commentary though. It's the straight feed from the IOC.
Joe MacCarthy
Thanks but I'm looking for the Canadian commentary. I didn't hear it at the time and would like to now. It now appears that http://www.ctvolympics.ca/ redirects to TSN and the games (without commentary) are now not available. The evil empire plods on. DJT Help! Lord Bob
For what it's worth, and I have no idea if these torrents are still active, but the South Africa, Sweden, and Great Britain links in the first post are Canadian commentary. But if DJT has his stuff he should certainly post it (the only copy of the bronze medal game I have has commentary in Russian! Russian!!!)

Maybe we should pm Gerard Depardieu and his buddy Vlad together they could translate it into french at least. EDIT: on a side note I am reorganizing my own archives, alas I do Not have it. But will be posting some Canadian Footy in January for all.

DJT
Sorry guys, I've been out of the loop. I do have every game, with Canadian commentary, plus pre-match/halftime/post-match shows, the medals ceremony, and some extras like the team visiting Brian Williams in the studio following the medals ceremony. I know I was in the process of editing, converting and uploading all of it, but I can't remember where I left off -- I'll have to take inventory and get back to you. rkomar
I've always enjoyed listening to John Helm commentating matches. I'm glad that he's become the voice of Women's International Soccer over much of the English speaking world.

I wanted to record them to get the Guy Mowbray commentary and him presaging the foibles of the Norwegian ref.
