Great performance by LeBlanc in goal too.

National Women's Soccer League Canadian Player... performances

I agree with you. It's also frustrating because when playing, Robinson's been a very effective player and has pretty decent chemistry with Wambach. Robinson came on as a late sub one game and scored a beautiful game winner/game tying goal (I can't remember which). -

There have definitely been ups and downs. Good showing from her last night. She scored on a PK and was named player of the game. It must be fascinating being on the backline infront of a GK like Hope Solo. It's interesting to note that Kyle basically took Zurrer's starting job..in a position that's not natural to her. Zurrer has seen little to no playing time this season. Some decisions will have to be made after the season is done in terms of allocation. Tancredi will return to fulltime soccer, while Filigno will likely be looking for a post-college pro job and it sounds like -

Now that Heath is with Portland, I think Sinclair's scoring opportunities will increase. She seemed to be doing too much while Parlow Cone had her in the midfield. A number of Canadian players have really excelled in the NWSL. In particular LeBlanc has looked very good for Portland and her stop of Wambach's penalty kick two weeks ago was something else. Scott is turning a lot of heads too. There's a great article on her (http://espn.go.com/espnw/news-commentary/article/9499177/espnw-fc-kansas-city-midfielder-desiree-scott-scored-big-staying-canada) that discusses her progression as a play -

As per the CSA Twitter: Midfielder Danica Wu (Ohio St. / USA) and defender Kylla Sjoman (Herford SV / GER) have been added to the #canWNT camp roster. There are a few tweets going out south of the border than Erin McLeod isn't healthy due to a hand injury. We'll see how that storyline progresses over the next week. I thought Herdman may have called up Stephanie Labbe for backup, but he hasn't done so yet.

The Canadian roster will be announced tomorrow, late morning on the west coast/early afternoon in the east.

Good to know, squizz. Thanks! One thing I think the team is currently missing is the physicality Tancredi brings. She's tenacious, relentless and skilled. My hope is that Oduro can play a bit of that role with the team. As I recall, she got injured during the Cyprus Cup. I'm not sure of her status though because she didn't play in the friendlies versus France or England.

Tancredi is a bit of a wild card. Will she be on the roster for this game? Herdman has half-jokingly alluded to it earlier this year. Someone had mentioned she was training with a men's squad in St. Louis? Some food for thought. My guesses on the starting 11: McLeod Wilkinson - Buchanan - Moscato - Sesselmann Matheson - Schmidt - Scott - Kyle Sinclair - Foligno (high striker)

Melissa Busque has also joined the Seattle Sounders. Good article on her: http://www.sounderswomen.com/home/712837.html
