Josh Simpson's side in a bit of trouble. How come invariably many of our boys overseas wind up at questionably run clubs?

Sorry the link is in German: http://www.handelszeitung.ch/unternehmen/yb-fcz-und-sion-grosse-namen-ohne-lizenz

FC Sion, FC Zurich and Servette Geneva and 7 Second Division clubs in the same boat.

Add to that it looks like there was a team (Neuchatel Xamax?) that also bowed out mid-season due to financial problems. Sorry if this is a stereotype, but would have thought the Swiss League would have been the last place where there'd be financial issues.

This is why I sometimes think it's just best for some of our boys to play in a financially "safer" league, even if it's not quite at the same level as some other leagues. Come to MLS Josh!!! Montreal, Vancouver, and TFC could all use you!

The guy who bought Xamax 18 months ago was an absolute lunatic. He apparently walked into the dressing room with a gun and threatened to kill his players after a poor performance.

Hey Al! Sounds like this guy makes "Mad Vlad" look like a stable owner! lol
