argh1
If there's a long waiting list for seasons tickets....why is TFC advertising half season tickets? Does TFC offer flex tickets in smaller game packages as well?
BuzzAndSting
They started offering half and full game packs to those on the waiting list this year. I received my offer just after Christmas.

munseahawk
They put a cap on the number of full-season ticket packages they sell, hence the waiting list. Otherwise the entire building would be nothing but season ticket holders and they would have no tixs left for gameday sales.
Cheeta
A marketing scheme, and a fairly crafty one at that, to give the ticket buying public a sort of "faint hope" clause. Not unlike holding a portion of the "gameday" tickets for open sale. Give everybody who's interested in attending a TFC match at lease some sort of real opportunity of actually attending a match. If you want to keep that interested ticket buying public interested, than you have to give them that opportunity to remain interested, which basically means being able to attend fixtures. It's good Public Relations, a good supply & demand business promotion which does nothing to devalue TFC as a property, and overall a fair enough offering to the general public. BringBackTheBlizzard
One thing to bear in mind is that they used to be able to quickly shift these half season packages even when Marlies AHL games were forced on the buyer as part of the package. As things stand with no Marlies games and the prospect of being at the front of the line to claim a full season ticket seat in the supporters section or light grays in the next relocation people are still balking at paying for one of the more expensive seats probably because they think the availability is always there on game day to get in for significantly less and there is no longer a huge need to be at the top of the waiting list. nfitz
If there's a long waiting list for seasons tickets....why is TFC advertising half season tickets? There's not much left other than some dark grey and lots of light blue (the new overly priced north stand) - and the odd single here and there. Much of the waiting list evaporated this year, as they increased the number of seasons tickets available (17,000 now?) and with the large exodus of season ticket holders in the fall. Does TFC offer flex tickets in smaller game packages as well? They'll probably offer a 4-game Champions League pack again this year after beating Edmonton and Vancouver.
