DJT
Guidelines for this thread In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for February 25 - March 3, 2011. If you find updates posted in some other thread or on the other Voyageurs forum then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster. If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread. guppy
Simpson scores yet again but Manisaspor loses to Sivasspor 4 - 2. I was surprised they lost to a bottom feeder like Sivasspor.. it was against them that Simpson had his hattrick earlier. Manisapor looked like it was making progress up the table, then they ran into tough losses against top teams. But this loss... that's gotta hurt.. VIS
I was surprised they lost to a bottom feeder like Sivasspor.. it was against them that Simpson had his hattrick earlier. Manisapor looked like it was making progress up the table, then they ran into tough losses against top teams. But this loss... that's gotta hurt.. Yes Josh is very disappointed. Also he got another yellow card. So did Jimmy Dixon so that makes 4 for both of them and they sit out the next game. Manaisaspor was using their third string left back. His first pro game. 17 years old. At the beginning of the game he took a hit to the head. He should of been pulled out of the game. He couldn't see straight and ended up with a hand ball in the box and gave up the pk. They took him out shortly after because you could tell he was suffering from concussion type symptoms. It just kept getting worse. So they are missing 2 of their back line and now with Jimmy out next game that makes 3 out. Manisa doesn't have the depth of some of the other teams.
