Some good memories in there, especially that bicycle kick at the Gold Cup. Thanks for the memories...

Mr.Impact
Have to agree Carlo has been great for his country, never said NO. Fond memories include Vancouver 86'ers play, Gold Cup, and stints in the English Leagues, with North Hampton Town , and Oxford United, among others. Well Done Carlo Cheers !!!! Carlo's bicycle-kick goal vs Costa Rica in the 2000 Glod Cup was the greatest goal ever scored in a Canadian jersey. Not to mention he won the Golden Boot at the 2000 Gold Cup. Needless to say he was an integral part of our 2000 Gold Cup victory (God, was that 6 years ago !). Carlo was also a member of the 1992 CSL Championship, Winnipeg Fury. On behalf of all the old Fury fans, have a great retirement ! You made my season-tickets worthwhile.
youllneverwalkalone
He also scored 111 league goals in England, and 10 more in cup competitions. That must be pretty close to Pesch amongst active Canucks.
Winnipeg Fury
Close to Pesch, but in a lower divisions than Pesch. Nevertheless, a great achievement.
youllneverwalkalone
Point taken about the divisions, but it looks like they're actually tied at 111 + 10 in the cups. Looks 493 GP for Paolo, 421 for Carlo. Not to shabby. I think they also lead active scorers for Canada, with 10 for CC and 9 for PP. Could be wrong about that one though. Anyway, looks like we can take Carlo off the "active" list.
