I am pretty sure he's referring to a goal he scored last year.

The shot was going wide, and then it hit a coffee cup (which was blowing across the pitch) and was re-directed into the net.

Well, that's that for Pesch. He's an Englander now I guess and comfortable enough with it, it seems.

Bit about getting into property development made me smile. Brother married into an ethnic Italian family and they're all into "property development" in one fashion or another. One property develops with a trowel, another property develops with a hammer, so on so forth.

Guess it sound better in the interview than "I like to drywall".

Well, Pesch is right in a way about soccer. All we have in Canada are games; other than Soccercentral which is pretty much just highlights, we don't have shows on analysis and other peripheral content. Think about all the shows we have that surround hockey. It's not just about the games.
