Blue and White Army
Jason Bent might not be getting much action lately with those glory hunters Plymough Argyle, but he will feature as part of a "Plymouth XI" in a friendly against my "ancestral club" (yay!), Tiverton Town, on Fri Feb 13th at 7pm Limey-time. http://www.tiverton-town-fc.co.uk/msgboard/2318.asp Come on you Yellows! beachesl
One pound? I though the only thing you could get in ol' limey for one pound these days was a half-packet of crisps! I can just smell that place! Wonderful! Would love to see Man United dragged in there for a Cup tie one of these days!
Gian-Luca
I would imagine its a game that will allow him to get back into match fitness - he's been out since mid-November with an injury.
Ivan
We need a report from Rupert on Bent's status. Rupert, is this a fitness excercise for Jason, or is he currently out of the team? Thanks in advance.
Gian-Luca
This was posted on the other forum by James, from Teamtalk: Plymouth midfielder Jason Bent made his return from injury in the 4-0 Pontin's Holidays Combination League win away to Bristol Rovers. Fit-again Bent had a 55 minute run-out at Cossham Street against a young Rovers side. Ian Stonebridge fired Argyle ahead after eight minutes before forward Andy Watkins made it 2-0 on 51 minutes. Further goals from Steve Adams and Lee Coxon wrapped up the win.
