An Observer
Seems the maritimes sides did well in both this comp and the Challenge Trophy. Is that because their level has increased or is more related to the sides from the more established soccer provinces (Ontario, Quebec, BC, Alberta) being weaker due to the better players playing at a higher level elsewhere? It's usually pretty even across the country at this level. Teams tend to do a bit better when it's their region they're playing in, too. Absolutely the elite players in bigger Provinces are playing at higher levels, but their populations are still pretty substantial.
